The problem

Freelancers were creating invoices elsewhere and only using Tallyhive to track them. The list showed everything with equal weight, so overdue work got lost.

What I changed

I rebuilt the list around three states: overdue, due soon, and draft. Creating an invoice now starts from the last one you sent to that client.

Reminders without awkwardness

Friendly reminders go out on a schedule the freelancer chooses once, so nobody has to write an uncomfortable follow-up by hand.

What I learned. Freelancers didn’t need more invoice options. They needed to see, at a glance, which clients still owed them money.

What happened

More invoices were created inside the product, and late payments became easier to spot and chase.
